HOTELS

ROLE OF TIE HOLIDAYS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TIE Holidays acts as a facilitator, offering users an online platform to search, select, and book accommodation, including hotels, homestays, bed & breakfasts, farmhouses, and alternative stays.

All information about properties — such as category, images, room details, amenities, and facilities — is provided by the hotel itself. This content is for reference only. If there is any mismatch between the photographs on our website and the actual property, guests should resolve this directly with the hotel. TIE Holidays bears no liability for such discrepancies and will not be involved in the resolution process.

INFORMATION FROM THE HOTEL AND HOTEL TERMS

Hotel booking vouchers issued by TIE Holidays rely entirely on inventory data shared by the hotel. TIE Holidays is not responsible for situations where the hotel fails to honor a confirmed booking, provides unsatisfactory service, or has any other service-related issues.

If a hotel denies check-in due to overbooking, technical errors, or other unforeseen circumstances, TIE Holidays’ responsibility will be limited to either arranging similar alternative accommodation (subject to availability) or refunding the booking amount paid.

Hotels reserve the right to deny check-in as per their own policies. Some hotels may refuse accommodation to unmarried or unrelated couples, guests without valid identification, or local residents. TIE Holidays is not liable in such cases, and no refund will apply if check-in is denied for reasons outside our control.

USER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Users must cover the cost of any damage they or their accompanying guests cause to the property. The hotel will determine the amount, and TIE Holidays will not intervene.

  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years old.

  • All guests must present valid identity and address proof at check-in.

  • Check-in and check-out timings are as per hotel policy. Early check-in or late check-out depends on availability and may incur extra charges.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES BY THE HOTEL

The booking amount paid covers only the stay and, where specified, meals like breakfast. All other services (e.g., room service, laundry, minibar, beverages) must be paid directly at the hotel.

Hotels may also levy mandatory meal surcharges during festive periods (e.g., Christmas, New Year’s Eve). These charges are payable directly to the hotel and cannot be waived by TIE Holidays.

PAYMENTS FOR BOOKINGS

Bookings may be:

  • Prepaid: The user pays the full booking amount (including hotel rate, taxes, and applicable fees) at the time of booking.

  • Pay at Hotel: The user pays directly at the hotel during check-in.

TIE Holidays may, in some cases, allow part payments. The balance must be paid as per booking terms.

For security, users must provide correct credit/debit card details. TIE Holidays may cancel bookings if payment details are found to be incorrect.

Some hotels may ask guests for a credit card or cash deposit at check-in to cover incidental expenses. This deposit is separate from payments made to TIE Holidays.

Payment may be made in INR or other currencies as specified. Some banks/card issuers may add fees for international transactions; please check with your card provider.

TOURS AND ATTRACTIONS

DEFINITIONS

“Tours and Attractions” include, but are not limited to, sightseeing tours, day trips, adventure activities, amusement park tickets, boat tours, cultural shows, or any experience booked through TIE Holidays.

The actual service provider is referred to as the “Supplier,” who is solely responsible for delivering the service.

Descriptions, photos, and details are provided by Suppliers. TIE Holidays does not control this content.

BOOKING & USE OF SERVICES

All bookings depend on availability and confirmation by the Supplier. Prices can vary and are final only after payment confirmation.

Guests must follow the Supplier’s terms (e.g., age or health requirements, dress codes).

ROLE OF TIE HOLIDAYS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TIE Holidays’ role is limited to connecting users with Suppliers. The agreement to provide the service is strictly between the user and the Supplier.

TIE Holidays is not responsible for:

  • Delays, cancellations, accidents, injuries, or any loss due to Supplier services.

  • Health, safety, or well-being of users before, during, or after the activity.

  • Any extra services directly purchased from the Supplier.

  • Incorrect information from the Supplier.

TIE Holidays’ maximum liability will be limited to refunding the booking amount received (subject to refund by the Supplier).

USER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Users must comply with Supplier and TIE Holidays’ terms.

  • Users must present the booking voucher to use the service.

  • Valid identification (passport, ID) must be carried as required.

  • Reselling or transferring activities is prohibited.

  • Users must arrive at the correct time; refunds for no-shows depend on Supplier policy.

  • Users may need to sign waivers or health declarations as requested by the Supplier.

  • Users must meet eligibility requirements (e.g., age, weight, health).

PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Refunds and cancellations follow Supplier policies.

  • Modifications or cancellations should be made through the TIE Holidays website.

  • Suppliers may cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances; TIE Holidays will assist with rescheduling or refunds as per Supplier policy.

  • Taxes, service fees, or convenience fees charged by TIE Holidays are non-refundable.

TIE Holidays cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions). Refunds for services not provided will depend on the Supplier’s policy.
